ASSMANN WSW, your system supplier and manufacturer of standard and customer-specific connectors, cooling technology products and cable assembly solutions, would like to proactively inform you about our NEW silicone free thermal compound. After many years of increasing demands on the former silicone free thermal compound, this well-known product has been further enhanced.

ASSMANN WSW officially published the substitution of the former compound by the new improved product by distributing a PCN (Product Change Notification) on the 26th, October 2023.

The former silicone free thermal compound will be substituted by a new composition of silicone free thermal compound, which shows, beside other processibility advantages, an improved thermal conductivity, which have been increased from 0,5 W/mk to 0,7 W/mK.

Pricing and lead times for the new improved product and it´s different volumes will stay the same. The products, available on different volumes and packaging will still be available from stock, in line with the stock levels before.

Please find below the new cross-reference part numbers, to be used for any new order.

We are prepared for your orders on the new material, starting from October 1st, 2024. First shipments on new orders are therefore possible following the 15th, October 2024.
