ASSMANN WSW, as your supplier and partner for standard and customized solution for connectors, thermal managements and cable assemblies, would like to inform you – our valued customers – about our situation and position regarding the middle east conflict.

We can with high probability assure, that we have no inbound material supply issues resulting from the conflict in the Middle East. Our material vendors within the Asian region are located near our production in China and South-East Asia and currently we do not expect any disturbance to our inbound supply. For our plant in Slovakia this is also the case, we do not have material suppliers near the conflict area and expect no disturbances to our inbound supply.

After producing our products in Asia, they move from Asia to Europe using Sea-Freight routes and here are some delays expected as routes need to change dynamically to avoid the conflict area. We are monitoring this closely with our freight forwarders and any delays will be informed to you on an order-by-order base by our customer service team.

Currently [2026-03-04], we have two shipments using the Middle East route and we are in close contact with our freight forwarders to monitor the situation closely and update our customers timely, however at this time, no delays on those shipments have been reported. All future shipments will be diverted by the southern oceans [South of Africa] and we will account for this in our lead times.

We are starting to see some material cost increases for Gold, Aluminum, Copper and Oil based products, we are also monitoring this closely and will look to minimize any impact resulting from this situation.
